Began as Stillaguamish Learning Exchange, a Washington State approved private school |
1984-1985 |
Participated in WA Pilot Study for Home-Based Instruction as Family-Centered Learning Alternatives [FCLA] |
| 1984 | Sponsored state convention |
| 1985 | WA State passes a new homeschool law. FA model encoded as a private school offering an extension program and became Academy Northwest|Family Academy |
| 1986-1993 | Sponsored numerous homeschool assemblies and student project fairs |
| 1989 | Non-Profit status established |
| 1990-1995 | Growth from a "Mom-Pop Store" to a Professional Service Corporation |
| 1995 | Began annual/semi-annual radio ads on Christian radio stations |
| 1996 | Began our own graduation ceremonies (We previously had graduates participate in the Washington Homeschool Organization graduation.) |
| 1998 | Accreditation with the National Private Schools Accreditation Alliance |
| 1999 | Web presence established |
| 2004 | Accreditation with the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools |
